Havana - At least seven people died and 40 were injured in western Cuba
when a truck carrying scores of passengers crashed into a parked tanker,
local media reported Monday. The accident took place on the Havana-Pinar
del Rio highway and nine of the injured were in serious condition, the
official news agency AIN reported.
In Cuba, trucks often carry passengers on long-haul journeys.
