Havana Airport Reopens: The Outcry Was Felt

HAVANA TIMES — The Cuban government heard the voice of the public and
decided to reopen terminal 3 at the Jose Marti Airport to people who are
sending off or receiving travelers, we confirmed on Sunday.

Cyberspace had filled with protests after the closing of the airport,
leaving those accompanying or awaiting passengers out on the street.
Academics, intellectuals, bloggers and artists wrote acerbic comments
questioning the ban decided by the airport management.

The barriers to free access were demolished under the weight of
opinions, arguments, reasons and the feelings of people. It is certainly
a lesson for all, especially for those who believe they are the owners
of what they are only managing.
