GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands -- A boat with 15 Cuban migrants who say
they are bound for Honduras is moored in waters of the Cayman Islands.

Immigration officials are monitoring the nine men and six women aboard
the small boat outfitted with an outboard motor. A Tuesday statement
from the British Caribbean islands' government says the migrants arrived
in Grand Cayman waters on Saturday and then returned, indicating that
rough weather is hindering their journey.

Cayman officials say the boat appears fine and the group plans to
continue once the weather clears.

The Cayman Islands and Cuba have an agreement under which Cuban migrants
who set foot on the territory's shores are detained and returned to
their homeland. But the British territory usually allows those who do
not come ashore to continue their journey.
